Our Mission

Lake in the Hills Parks & Recreation is your trusted resource for recreational opportunities, facilities, parks, and open spaces for safe affordable fun!

Parks and Recreation services began in Lake in the Hills in 1996 and were established for the purpose of providing recreational programs and maintaining open spaces for residents to enjoy. The Parks and Recreation Department administers all recreation programs, special events, trips, and outings. In addition to overseeing the Village's parks, the Public Properties Division manages our beaches, playgrounds, baseball, softball, soccer fields, and bicycle trails.
