Lake in the Hills offers a variety of rental options for aircraft storage.

The Village-owned T-hangars are an open-concept style with bi-fold electric doors. Each unit has its own access for pedestrian and aircraft traffic. The monthly rate is $320 and includes electricity. One year leases are standard. There is currently a wait list for T-hangar space. To be placed on the list, please email the Airport Administration at 3ckairport@lith.org.

There are also tie downs, both hard surface and grass, for rent. Hard surface tie downs have immediate availability with rates set at $90. These can be rented on a month-to-month basis. Grass tie downs are available from April through November each year and are offered at $60 per month.

Airport Fees

Overnight parking is available for $10.00 per night on the ramp or $5.00 for a grass tiedown. The first night's fee is waived with minimum full service fuel purchase of 15 gallons. There is a large aircraft ramp fee of $50.00. Overnight storage in a hangar is available on a first come, first served basis. Availability is limited. Contact the airport office in advance for details.

Tiedowns are offered on a month-to-month basis. Grass tiedowns are not offered from December to March.

T-hanger rental fees are $320/month for a minimum of one year. Electricity is included. Contact the Airport Manager if you would like to be added to the waiting list.
