Village Receives Energy Efficient Grant
The Metropolitan Mayors Caucus awarded Lake in the Hills $5,880 in grant funding to upgrade interior fluorescent hanging lights at Village Hall. This grant helps the Village in its continued effort to replace inefficient fixtures and will defray the costs of converting the internal components of forty-four decorative fluorescent lights with LED (light emitting diode) retrofit kits. This is one of the many ways the Village staff is working to provide its residents efficient and sustainable services.
