2021 Lake in the Hills Parks and Recreation Board

The Parks and Recreation Board is a seven-member board of Lake in the Hills residents, each appointed by the Village President, that recommends recreation programs and ensures park development. Members meet on the first Thursday of each month at the Village Hall. The meetings start at 6:30 p.m. and are open to the public.

Park Stewardship Program

Each year, members of the Parks and Recreation Board visit our parks and facilities to assess opportunities for improvement, such as adding amenities that would enhance the park. Board members are equipped with a Lake in the Hills vest and I.D.; they may engage with the public in attendance during their visit to collect input and feedback on park conditions and improvements.
