The Village of Lake in the Hills hosts two Shred days each year for all Lake in the Hills Residents. The shred date for 2024 is Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Village Hall, 600 Harvest Gate from 9am until Noon at the Public Works Facility, 9010 Haligus Road.

Residents can bring two copier paper size boxes of any paper documents that they would like shredded. AMS Store and Shred will be on hand to take those paper documents, which will be put into 95 gallon totes and then locked. At the end of the day, AMS will take the locked totes back to their facility at 13 Prosper Court, Lake in the Hills and shred all the paper documents within the totes.

There are no fees involved for residents.
