While we weren't able to celebrate with Lincoln Prairie Elementary School students, as we have in the past, Aubrey Cambell, a third-grader at the school read aloud the Arbor Day proclamation for us. Thank you, Aubrey!

This year, our Public Works Department planted a common hackberry tree, a hearty, medium-sized tree with a slim trunk and pendulous branches, at Village Hall. This tree can live for 150 to 200 years when conditions are ideal.
